Okay I haven't really done anything to deserve being on the Naughty List, well unless you count that one time....no nevermind. Anyhoo, I've been good but according to my son, Santa will not bring me presents because I've been bad.
We were making his list of things that he would like Santa to bring him and when he was finished he asked me what I wanted Santa to bring me. I explained to him I was not getting presents from Santa, only he was....so that's when he asked me "is it because you've been bad? It is isn't it mom....you've been bad and Santa won't bring you nuffin" I love kids :)

Tuesday's gone......with the wind....
Tuesdays are always so blah....it's not like Monday....you know what to expect out of a Monday. Monday's suck because it's starting the work week all over again. Who likes that?
Wednesday's have a nick name. It's called Hump Day due to it's position in the order of days. It's in the middle and once you get over the HUMP...you're home free...hence the term Hump Day. It also has a motto that goes along with it that may not be that popular around here but I've heard it a few times so I'll share it with you "Love the one you hump and hump the one you love" Need I say more about Wednesday?
Then there is Thursday which is nice because all day you can think "thank God tomorrow is Friday!" So Thursday brings excitement because you know that Friday follows!
Then obviously Friday is the best day because well, HEY, it's freaking Friday...no need for explanations.
Tuesday offers NOTHING. It comes after crappy monday and before HUMP day so it's quiet and boring and if Lynrd Skynrd had not sang a song about it...we would never have anything to say about it.
The ONE time Tuesday's were a big deal in my life was when I went to college in Kansas. My good friend Judah and I would listen to a certain radio station and every tuesday they had Two for Tuesday which meant they played two songs by same artist. That was always a good time (as sad as that sounds now) Oddly enough that is the same radio station that I heard "Hump the one you love and love the one you hump" for the very first time :)

Manic Monday...whoa-oh oh
You ever get a song stuck in your head? You ever get the same song every week stuck in your head? Well I do and it's none other than the popular hit by the Bangles "Manic Monday" Well it's a catchy little tune but for some reason (probably the word Monday in the title) I keep singing it EVERY FREAKING MONDAY! So that was the most annoying thing that happened today so over all it wasn't too bad.
My son does NOT mind hearing the same song over and over and over again. In fact, he goes through weeks of listening to the same repeatedly. This time it's Burning Love by Elvis Presley....you know the Hunka hunka burning love? Well that's his favorite song this month. Last month it was When Will I Be Loved by Linda Ronstadt. Before that it was On the Road again by Willie Nelson....then at one time it was Popular from the Wicked Soundtrack...is this MY child or WHAT? LOL

Confessions of a bad blogger
So I don't blog everyday....is that a bad thing. It's not like anyone is reading this anyway...
Since I still like to speak my mind (captive audience or not) I feel that I need to discuss something other than New Moon LOL I do have other interests :)
I could start with a confession about how I enjoy watching MTV's The Hills the way some people love crack. Not the ho's trying to score some on the street cause they can't live without it...I'm talking about the ones who are very educated, and family oriented, but they have that one little guilty pleasure. that one guilty pleasure that eventually leads to their demise but I digress. So it's a bit embarrassing that I even entertain myself with such trivial fluff. These people are materialistic, selfish, childish, and borderline retarded in some instances....and yet...I watch and i laugh and I keep informed of the ridiculous choices made by these people who, like paris hilton, are famous for nothing.

What a Night!
The New Moon party was such a great event...jenni worked so hard and made it the perfect experience for all of her guests!! Notice the pics I posted taken by some of the party guests.
The movie was incredible. You could tell they had a bigger budget to work with LOL The make up was much better...the effects...the overall experience was just better than Twilight. I think they adaptation from book to screen was good too...of course things were left out but that's to be expected. I'm anxious to see if they are going to bring up the character of Leah? I hope they do because she is a big part of the next couple of books so...I guess we'll see in June :)

IT IS FINALLY HERE
The day I have been waiting on for several months now has finally arrived. I'm going to see New Moon at Midnight tonight! How freaking exciting is that?

So this is my very first blog on my own blog spot....and how exciting that I can just dish out my opinions, thoughts, questions, etc all day long! I'd like to make this a theme page, but honestly my favorite things change frequently so I may just stick to basic stuff. I'm leaning toward an advice blog of sorts....not that I'm an expert but I certainly love to dish it out LOL
